The Yentna River is a glacial fed tributary of the Susitna River. Because of the turbidity of the water, all fishing is done on many clear water tributaries.

Bentalit Lodge’s location is on Fish Lakes Creek (one of many we fish) and is only 3 miles from Lake Creek, Alaska. We also fish up to 6 other creeks within boating distance of our Alaska Fishing Lodge. Lake Creek (the largest of the rivers we fish) is 60 miles long running North to South from Chelatna Lake in the Alaska Mountain Range to the Yentna River. We have the most productive Alaska Fishing Lodge in this area!

Lake Creek is a dynamic, meandering river with many isolated islands, gravel bars, and backwater areas. It is easily fished by spin and fly fishermen in a similar way and is typically done from the river bank, back trolling, or wading out from mid-stream shallow areas. We have expert Alaska Fly Fishing Guides and Conventional Tackle Guides. Fishing our wild Alaska rivers offers the opportunity to experience nature at its best whether your method of fishing is fly fishing or spin fishing. Fishing is done directly from our Alaska fishing lodge in our 20′ custom built boats. Our experienced Alaska fishing guides are all CPR Certified & trained in first-aid. All of our fishing guides are Coast Guard Licensed. They are proficient in both Alaska fly fishing and Alaska spin fishing and are there to assist you in catching fish. We also have an ample supply of G-Loomis fly rods and reels for the anglers who would like to learn to Alaska fly fish. Whether the fish are upstream or at the mouth of the rivers, your fishing guide has a prop boat and a jet boat at their disposal to get you to the fish. Alaska King Salmon up to 65 lbs. are caught annually. The angling here is so productive, your daily bag limit is almost always achieved. Shortly after the king salmon run ends in mid-July, pinks and sockeyes arrive in large numbers. Even before the pinks and sockeyes leave, the silver salmon weighing in at 10 to 18 lbs. will start running. These fish come with incredible aerobatics and a very aggressive nature. We also offer Alaska Rainbow Trout Fishing, Arctic Grayling Fishing and Northern Pike Fishing.
